June 15, 2024, Ulhasnagar – To the satisfaction of the people living in Ulhasnagar Camp 3, the famous Indira Gandhi Garden, situated in Dassera Maidan, has lately undergone an amazing makeover. The community now enjoys a lively and welcoming garden thanks to the tremendous efforts of UMC Corporator, Member of the Sindhi Sahitya Academy Maharashtra, and former member of the MMRDA Planning Committee, Shri Raju Jagiasi, and his brother, Shri Ravi Jagiasi.

A Renewed Indira Gandhi Garden

The goal of the makeover project was to revitalize the garden and create a calm, pleasurable space that would appeal to all age groups. Ulhasnagar’s residents can now unwind, play, and mingle in a lovely, well-kept garden. The improvements made to the garden consist of:

  • Musical Live Karaoke Program: To showcase local talent and delight guests, a special space has been created for live karaoke and musical performances.
  • Children’s Playground: New equipment has been added to the playground, making it a fun and safe space for kids to play.
  • Walking Path: For those who prefer to jog or walk in a tranquil environment, a well-paved walking path has been installed.
  • Seating spaces : Cozy new seating spaces have been installed, providing a spot for both parents and children to sit, unwind, and take in the beauty of the garden.
  • Green Spaces & Landscaping: The garden’s landscaping has been greatly enhanced, resulting in a lovely setting composed of flower beds, ornamental plants, and lush green lawns.

The Ulhasnagar community has responded with tremendous positivity. The refurbished garden offers something for everyone to enjoy, including families with young children. The garden is a well-liked location for leisure and recreation because of the new features and the overall atmosphere of the area.
